Are you passionate about building a high performing team to support clients experiencing homelessness?

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support a dedicated team delivering high-quality services to people experiencing homelessness. You will join the Hammersmith & Fulham Supported Accommodation Pathway team, which provides accommodation and support to 129 clients across seven sites, including 24-hour staffed complex needs hostels and semi-independent services.

We are looking for a Service Manager; one to oversee our semi-independent accommodation services working across three sites (till Jan 2028) and another to oversee a complex needs hostel, alongside a semi-independent service which specialises in support for men from the LGBTQ+ community, surviving domestic abuse.

Leading a Deputy Manager and a team of Support Workers, you will provide support to some of the borough's most vulnerable people, using psychologically informed and trauma-informed approaches to help residents progress in their recovery and move towards greater independence.

As Service Manager, you will:

  • Take overall responsibility for the effective management and coordination of support provided to residents.
  • Ensure the services are safe, welcoming and supportive places to live and work.
  • Make sure residents receive personalised, strengths-based support that is approachable, engaging, flexible and caring.
  • Support residents to recognise and build on their strengths, and to progress towards their hopes, goals and ambitions.
  • Create opportunities for residents to contribute to and be involved in service development, the wider organisation and their local communities.
  • Deliver services in line with contractual requirements, organisational standards and best practice.
  • Lead, motivate, support and develop a team of staff to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with statutory and voluntary sector partners, as well as the local community.

About You

You will be:

  • A solution-focused and supportive people manager, able to motivate and develop a team towards shared goals and excellent service delivery.
  • Passionate about delivering person-centred support and adapting services to meet the needs of individuals who may be excluded from traditional community services.
  • Reflective, collaborative and committed to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Experienced in working within a recovery-focused, psychologically informed and trauma-informed environment.

We’d always like to hear from people who want to help transform lives.
